WELCOME TO BALANCE DISORDER AWARENESS CAMPAIGN!

This is officially the first post on this blog and we'd like to welcome you to the Balance Disorder Awareness Campaign (BDA)!

For those of us who do not know what Balance Disorders are, Balance Disorders, according to Ears, Ears & Associates Rehabilitation Services Inc., are disturbances that causes an individual to feel unsteady, giddy, woozy, or have a sensation of movement, spinning, or floating. Balance disorders are characterized by confusion, blurry vision, feeling faint, dizziness and vertigo, thereby affecting the day to day activities of the sufferer.
Please visit the adjoining pages to learn more about balance disorders, the different types, the symptoms, videos on treatment options and personal experiences of sufferers. These information are very educating and enlightening!

This campaign hopes to:
·         increase the awareness of balance disorders
·         educate family members of sufferers on how to deal with the situation
·         inform patients on the next step to take after being diagnosed
·         prove to people at large that vestibular disorders are indeed serious ailments
There are a lot of wonderful campaigns and charities out there that are working for this cause and BDA is just here to support the work they do and create more awareness for Balance Disorders.

Some of these other associations and campaigns include;
